FlappyBat ("the app") is developed by JustFox Labs B.V. This policy describes what data the app collects and why.
Account
The app creates an anonymous account on first launch (Firebase Anonymous Authentication) so your coin balance, purchases, and best scores can be saved. You can optionally link this anonymous account to Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In to make your progress portable across devices. Linking is optional, not required to play.
Gameplay and purchase data
The app stores your coin balance, owned cosmetic items, best scores, and purchase history on our servers (Google Firebase, hosted in the EU) so they survive app restarts and can be restored. This data is never sold.
Advertising
The app shows ads via Google AdMob. On iOS, the app asks for App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission before showing personalized ads; declining shows non-personalized ads instead. In the EU/UK, ad consent is collected via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before any personalized ad is served. In-app purchases
Purchases (coin packs, the Game Pass subscription) are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play - we never see or store your payment details. Refunds are handled by Apple/Google under their own policies, not by us directly.
Deleting your data
To delete your account and its associated data - your coin balance, owned cosmetic items, and best scores - emailsupport@flappybat.appand we will permanently delete it. Because accounts are anonymous, we will help you identify yours when you get in touch. (A one-tap "delete my data" option in the app is planned for a future update; until then this email request is the way to delete your data.)
One exception: records of purchases you made are kept in anonymized form, with your identity removed, because tax and accounting law requires us to retain transaction records for a number of years. Once anonymized, these records can no longer be linked back to you.
Deleting your data does not cancel an active Game Pass subscription - cancel that separately in your App Store/Play Store subscription settings.
Children
FlappyBat is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13.
